About Ambition

Every child has great ambitions. As he grows, he is
bombarded by negative suggestions

you can't do this;
you can't do that;
be careful;
look for security,
and so on...

Year by year, he experiences the "realities" of life, and
his ambitions fade away.

Figuratively speaking, most children die by the time they
reach their adulthood.

Negative Thinking, ‘Negativitis’ Cripples The Human Spirit

Does it seem strange that some people COMPLAIN they don’t
have enough TIME to be happy, yet they find enough time to
be sad?

Not really.

You see, their deplorable plight has nothing to do with
having sufficient or insufficient time.

It has everything to do with complaining.

After all, complaining is the negation of happiness. It’s
impossible to complain and be happy at the same time.

So, beware of that insidious disease known as ‘negativitis’
(negative thinking).

It is as pervasive as the common cold, but far more
damaging.

Haitian Movie Goers Want to See a Scary Movie!

Hi Richard, I like all your movies, to me you are a
genius...

I am also a big fan of horror movies. I like scarry movies,
I like to see zombies come back to life, I like to see the
girl next door is a vampire and she eats people,

I like to see the young man people trust is the "killer" I
like to see the best friend is a werewolf...

... It would be nice to have at least one great horror film
made in "Haiti" ...

I called my webmaster friend Pascal @ HaitiXchange to ask
him a question and I hear lots of noise in the background.

"Kote-w ye la-a?" I ask him

"M-nan w Bagay la...
Preval pral vin sou stage la talè konsa!" Pascal replies...

"O! Preval isit?...
anbin... Lè-w fini rele-m!" I added

Patnè-a pa janm rele-m non! :)

Pascal is more of a reporter than I am;
I have yet to leave my Bat Cave!
or should I say... the "Fouye Lair!"

Pascal impressed me the very first day I met him at the
Haitian Student Conference at Rugers University.

Haiti President Elect Preval Visits NYC

Haitian president elect, Rene Preval addressed a crowd at
York College in Queens on 3/27/06.

His pragmatic, realistic, and down to earth attitude gave
members of the Diaspora hope for the future.

Refusing to use the podium, he often told jokes and easily
connected with the crowd.
