On October 17 2012, rapper Wyclef Jean announced his birthday by going to Twitter and sharing a photo of him, nearly naked, on a Ducati motorcycle while wearing nothing but his man panties.

I guess you will agree... This is an attention getting photo... Of course it is... Clef is promoting his new book.

French artist Sebastien Bouchard hand-painted a Louis Vuitton monogram on a calabash bowl. in Haiti, this would be a Louis Vuitton Kwiy.

Calabash bowls used on the country side of Haiti for eating and in the kitchen, and lots of other purposes.

Calabash bowls (Kwiy) are often used by beggars in Haiti.

When I was a kid, my mother used to say: "Si-w pa ka charite pov la, pa kraze kwiy li." That means, if you cannot give to the beggar do not break his [calabash] begging bowl.

It is interesting to see how Bouchard Juxtaposes this iconic luxury logo with a cheap third world bowl, a real contrast between the necessities of Haitian life and the desires of western society.

Naomi Campbell brought many big names to help Haiti in her Feb 2010 Fashion for Relief event.

Naomi Campbell's Fashion for Relief runway show took place in Bryant Park in New York to help raise money for earthquake-ravaged Haiti.

Chris Brown, Kelly Osbourne, Donna Karan and Helena Christensen all walked the catwalk for the charity event, which raised funds for CARE.
