This report was partly based on information gathered at a roundtable discussion on the media and communication response to the Haiti earthquake. Hosted in Miami on May 24, 2010, the event was organized by Communicating with Disaster Affected Communities (CDAC) with support from the John S. and James L. Knight Foundation.
