Any clear, unbiased mind will not take my comments as an insult.But since you mentioned things that you find incongruous from several nationalities, I just wanted to know what you find inconsistent with your own's.
This topic transcends time and nationalities so it does not matter when you posted it.
The problem of Hispaniola is not unique.See the following islands with two different cultures sharing a small piece of land:
Cyprus, Ireland,Ceylon, Timor.All of them have problems and the only way to try to solve it it is talking about them.
A final word of advice:the internet does not belong to you. Anybody who wishes may participate.
