Difficult to compare Barbados and Haiti.

Barbados, which I know, must be the size of la Gonave, a rich place thanks to tourism, and southern enough to practically never worry about hurricanes or else.

This doesn't mean that solar energy wouldn't work in Haiti, but Haiti is so much bigger and mountainous.

Sporadically, I would say yes, but this is it.
