I did not know when I went to DR that they treat Haitians so poorly there and I was shocked

Yes, there are other countries with horrible injustices but we are not talking about those countries since this threat is specifically in response to what happend to actor Jimmy Jean-Louis in the DR. I don't use the DR as a shortcut since that would be quite a long detour from my house in Carefour, which is near the Port-Au-Prince airport.

I went to the DR with a band to work - I did not know when I went there that they treat Haitians so poorly there and I was shocked.

I have no desire to ever go back to the DR for any reason; for that matter, I have no interest in going to Mexico either.

I've lived through wars and enought violence in my life that I rather don't go searching for it.
