Taiwan is about to increase its humanitarian aid to Haiti

Haiti is in dire need of Humanitarian aid and Taiwan is ready to give the its ally a much needed boost in humanitarian aid.

Taiwan sent 8,600 tonnes of food to Haiti and plans to send more next year, the country's Ministry of Foreign Affairs said Tuesday, according to Taipei Times.
To help alleviate Haiti's humanitarian emergency, Taiwan has offered 8,600 tonnes of food this year and plans to provide more than 10,000 tonnes next year based on the nation's needs, he said.
This aid will arrive at a time when President Jovenel Moise is pleading for help from Haiti's international partners.
