Cap Lamandou Hotel In Jacmel Haiti Soon to be Comfort Inn Hotel

Did you know? The Cap Lamandou Waterview hotel in Jacmel will soon be known as Comfort Inn Jacmel.

Choice Hotels International, the hospitality holding corporation affiliated with several hotel brands such as Comfort Inn, Comfort Suites, Quality Sleep Inn, and Econo Lodge is will soon convert Cap Lamandou into Confort Inn.

On June 27, The Clinton Bush Haiti Fund made a $349,000 loan to upgrade the Cap Lamandou Waterview Hotel in Jacmel reports...

"The loan will enable physical renovations including updates to furniture and equipment, as well as an updated reservation system and training for hotel management. The seaside facility, which sits on a cliff overlooking the bay in the historic town of Jacmel, hopes to join the Comfort Inn brand of Choice Hotels International."

This just one of many Hotels being built and/or rehabiliated in Haiti.

More hotels in more pristine locations in Haiti means more tourists. More tourists means more money will flow into the economy of the Republic of Haiti.

Screw the Haitian name. The hotel is a business.

once it is aquired by another company it is up to that company to keep of change the name.

You really expect Epi d'Or to remain Epi d'Or once it is aquired by McDonald's?

I think that is a great idea! My hometown and its residents will most certainly benefit from this new venture.
