Some Haitian night club owners are complaining about a slow down in business recently. The nightlife has not really resumed in Haiti's Capital Port-au-Prince since the recent violent street protests.

Many people are afraid to go out and many businesses are complaining about the lack of customers, according to recent news reports coming from Haiti.

The nightlife in Petion-Ville is slowly picking up and all seems to be going OK in the Haitian provinces but as we get closer to downtown Port-au-Prince things are are not going that well.

Days after the violent gas price protest, many musicians and music promoters complained about events (bal) that were cancelled. That's constituted a big loss of incom for the Haitian music industry and a loss of entertainment for party goers.
