According to news reports, Pastor Estiverne Jean-Charles who runs a church at Delmas 33 in Port-au-Prince Haiti was about to board a flight to the United States when authorities spotted a special gift in his bag, 95,000 US dollars nicely gift wrapped.

When the reverend was asked where did that money come from, he replied: "I am a pastor, I can travel with as much money as I want."

Really???

It is illegal to travel to or from Haiti with more than $10,000 US or 400,000 gourdes without declaring it.

Pastor Estiverne Jean-Charles is now answering questions of the Haitian Judicial Police (DCPJ)
