Haiti Kanaval 2011, Will It Happen?

Will there be a Haiti Kanaval 2011? Carnival in Haiti is tradition, and may are already wondering if there will be carnival in Haiti this year?

Let's be honest, Champs de Mars Haiti is now a refugee camp. Champs de Mars is linked to Kanaval in Haiti this is where it happens.

Because Port-au-Prince was affected by the january 2010 earthquake, is that a reason not to have Kanaval in Haiti.

Note that Port-au-Prince is the capital, Champs the Mars is Haiti's Central park... Is that a reason not to have Kanaval this year.

We also have cholera in Haiti that may scare tourists.

Is it safe assume that there will be no Kanaval in Haiti for 2011?

Even if there is no "PARCOUR" for the kanaval 2011, should the Haitian music groups at least release Haitian Carnival jingles so that the Haitian people in Haiti and around the world could at least enjoy the warmth of Haiti karnaval spirit, even if only on Radio and on Television?

Carnaval or not will not change or affect what is going on in Haiti right now. I believe carnaval would give the people a short release from pain. Carnaval could give them a way to forget their sorrows even it is short lived.

Besides, Carnaval does not have to happen at Port-au-Prince.

It can be anywhere in Haiti.
