Haiti Earthquake Survivors Disappointed, Obama Didn't Come
In an article posted on by Joseph Guyler Delva, many Haitians say they were expecting to see Presient Barack Obama visit Haiti already.

"We are the first Black independent Republic of the world, and Obama is the first US Black president."
Stephanie Jean-Jacques says:
"We have received tremendous attention from the international community and has demonstrated great attention from day one of the disaster.
I believe Haitians are very grateful to him and his administration, but we are dying to see him come here to see us. We are requesting that of him because we love him."

Where is our own president?
Did he address the nation yet?
Just like Haitians to be so ungrateful.
He has been so supportive since January 12, 2010. For goodness sakes people, the man inherited a hot mess left from the last President.
He is busy making changes for the good of the US. What does it matter if he don't come; at least he sent. He sent help and he sent tons of help.That is what counts and matters.
For me i see that in another sense president Obama is too busy now he has too much in his basket to deal .Since his wife come to haiti that's mean plenty things
Maybe the Haitian people did not wave enough American flags or chant OBAMA loud enough for him to hear them. Or it could be that he is President of the UNITED STATES and NOT
This is a pretty complicated situation.
Somehow the visit would be very meaningful.
We even saw a French president, 1st time since 1804. Maybe Obama is more practical than sentimental.
May his administration get push by the media to pay intention to the issue, but he may not care that much the way we thinks he is or he should.
