Just this morning I told you that Haiti Earthquake survivors were disappointed because Obama Didn't Come and Lo and behold...

Obama is in Haiti...

Well... Barack la pa ale but...

his wife, First Lady Michelle Obama and the Vice President Joe Biden's wife Jill Bidden is with her.

They will be in Haiti for about 6 hours, enough time to see first hand the devastation in Haiti.

This is Michelle Obama's first trip outside of the United States

Here is an official statement from the White House website about Michelle Obama's Haiti Trip:

"Moments ago First Lady Michelle Obama and Dr. Jill Biden landed in Port-au-Prince, Haiti - a visit to underscore to the Haitian people and the Haitian government the enduring U.S. commitment to help recover and rebuild, especially as we enter the rainy and hurricane seasons.

Mrs. Obama and Dr. Biden will thank the women and men across the whole of the U.S. government for their extraordinary efforts in Haiti during the past three months and reach out to the UN and international relief communities in recognition of the truly global effort underway to help Haiti."
