Can a Haitian live in his community with the wardrobe of the Facebook CEO?
With the fear of criticism so rampant in our Haitian society, would you be able to live with just a few clothes or worse, wearing the same color jeans and shirt everyday like Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerberg?
Would a Haitian dare to dress like Mark Zuckerberg everyday?
I came to spend some time with my Haitian mother and I brought a couple of black jeans, black and plain. Within a few days she asked me:
"So, how much longer are gonna be wearing these jeans for?"
Mom has not travelled for awhile and she doesn't realize that, when you're flying Spirit Airlines, only your laptop bag is free. Carry-on is like 50 bucks.
Why would I bring with me a whole bunch of clothes that I can buy when I arrive at my destination if I ever need it.
So I told her: "Mom, whatever you want to buy for me, I will work for you."
LOL

I love in Haiti.
And dress like ghat everyday.
Sometimes I overhear people talking about how I don't have clothes.
