Haiti's Economic System - Flow of Income is FLAT, not Circular

Look at this chart of the Haitian Economic System, the flow of income is flat, it is not circular like in growing economies...

In the Haitian economy, households interact with MERCHANTS who IMPORT goods for household consumption from outside countries.

The money, which comes in large part from the Diaspora, never stay long enough in the Haitian economy to change hands and grow.

Plain and simple, The Haitian flow of income is FLAT, it is NOT Circular... Our economy does NOT grow, it flows out to other countries..
