Hello everyone,
I am unsure how exactly to begin this email because it seems we as Haitians do not congregate with others and make the most of what could be a very successful network of professionals.

I am aware that there are plenty of other Haitian in the Tampa Bay area but aside from the occasional events presented by the USF student group and the Haitian association, there is no real coming together.

Have we become so assimilated into the American system that we do not seek each other out and share our experiences while accomplishing a lot more than just self advancement but also stereotype reversal?

Please let me know if any Haitians living in this area want to change the way Haitians are viewed in the US and around the world.

This is a call to all interested in making a difference.
