US Embassy in Haiti alerts Americans employees in the country to seek safe shelter amid Nov. 18 street Protests
The U.S. Department of State Bureau of Consular Affairs issued the following security alert to American employees in Haiti ahead of the Nov. 18 2018 Street protests:

Haiti Security Alert: The Embassy has received notice of large demonstrations planned for November 18 in Port-au-Prince, and possibly other locations. Out of an abundance of caution, the Embassy is requiring its American employees to shelter in place beginning at 12pm on Nov. 17.
