Canada asks its citizens to avoid non-essential travel in Haiti

Ottawa Canada is asking its citizens to avoid any non-essential travel to Haiti amid violent street protests that have taking place in the country the last few days.

This decision came following news that many Canadians are currently stuck in Haiti's Royal Decameron Indigo Beach Resort in Cote Des Arcadins unable to travel to the airport to catch their return flight back home.
