Haitian-Canadian Dominique Anglade becomes Deputy Premier in Quebec
Dominique Anglade, daughter of Haitian Professor Georges Anglade, had just been appointed Vice Prime Minister in Quebec (vice premier ministre au Québec).

As Deputy Premier of Quebec Dominique Anglade becomes the number 2 of the Quebec government. She assists the prime minister in his duties.
Following a cabinet reshuffle unveiled by Prime Minister Philippe Couillard on Wednesday, October 11, Haitian-born Dominique Anglade becomes Deputy Premier of Quebec.
Dominique Anglade, the former Minister of the Economy, Science and Innovation and Minister responsible for the Digital Agenda is the daughter of the late professor and writer Georges Anglade, and Mireille Neptune, diplomat and teacher of the French language.
