Many radio programs in Haiti are coming to a halt because there is a shortage of fuel at the pumps.

A couple of nights ago radio Mega had to shut down one of the late-night radio programs preliminary because they had no fuel to keep the generators running.

Journalist Gerrier Henry was literally begging on air asking if anyone had fuel to help them out.

"We have the money to buy diesel," he said, "we just can't find it anywhere."

If anyone had it for sale they were more than willing to purchase it.
