What happened to the ambition to turn Haiti into an emerging market by 2030?
Back in March 2013, Haiti's finance Minister spoke of this great ambition to turn Haiti in to an emerging market by 2030. What happened to that plan? How are we doing with that?

"We have a great ambition, said Finance Minister Marie Carmelle Jean Marie in an interview to Emerging Markets Magazine in an interview. "We want to turn Haiti in an emerging market by 2030 and this cannot be just a slogan!"
The plan was to restore and reform public finances and attract investments from foreign countries like Venezuela, The United States, even the neighboring Dominican Republic
The Haitian finance minister said a lot of efforts were needed to achieve this.
Again, what happened to that plan? Are there "a lot of efforts" still being made to achieve this or is this great plan in that "tiroir", that drawer that no one dares to open, like the current keeps mentioning?
