Haiti's ranking in Forbes Best And Worst Countries For Business 2018

Forbes released its best and worst countries for business 2018 and Haiti is not exactly where we would like it to be in that list. Haiti is not quite opened for business according to the Forbes list.

Forbes determined the Best Countries for Business by rating 153 nations on 15 different factors including property rights, innovation, taxes, technology, corruption, freedom (personal, trade and monetary), red tape and investor protection.

Haiti ranks 151 in the list 153 countries as one of the worst countries for business, third from the bottom, out ranking only Gambia and Chad.

Note: Our neighboring Dominican Republic which shares the island of Hispaniola with us ranks 93 in the list.

I do not look at this as a bad report card, I look at it as a very realistic assessment of Haiti's financial situation.

Forbes a publié ses meilleurs et pires pays pour les affaires en 2018 et Haïti n'est pas exactement là où nous aimerions qu'il soit dans cette liste.

Haïti n'est pas tout à fait ouvert aux affaires selon la liste Forbes.

Forbes a déterminé les meilleurs pays pour les affaires en classant 153 pays sur 15 facteurs différents incluant les droits de propriété, l'innovation, les taxes, la technologie, la corruption, la liberté (personnelle, commerciale et monétaire), la bureaucratie et la protection des investisseurs.
