Haitian American Senator Kwame Raoul Voted to Fire Blagojevich

Senator Kwame Raoul is the one who replaced when he was elected to the United States Senate.

In an interview on MSNBC's Hardball, I found out that the Haitian American Senator's name surfaced as a potential replacement for Barack Obama in the U.S. Senate.

Senator Kwame said: "My name was thrown in by the Senate president as somebody who should be considered."

It would have been wonderful to see a Haitian American in the United States Senate but Governor Blagojevich had other plans...

Haitian American Senator Kwame Raoul had no problem to impeach Governor Blagojevich because the evidence is clear that he was trying to sell Obama's senate seat. Senator Raoul and his colleagues voted unanimously 59-0 to impeach Blagojevich and strip the governor of his post.
