Facebook bought Instagram in 2012 and WhatsApp in 2014. But even today, many users of those apps don't realize they are part of Mark Zuckerberg's empire.
A Facebook official announced Friday that Facebook will soon make it clear by adding its name to both apps.
The social network will rebrand the apps to "Instagram from Facebook" and "WhatsApp from Facebook," The Information reported.
Whatsapp is one of the most popular communications app used by Haitians in Haiti and the Diaspora to stay in touch with family and friends.
