The media, national and international, often show you pictures of Haitian street protesters confronting the Haitian National Police men and women, tear gas thrown, and the policemen, overwhelms by their duty to serve and protect who often result to a little confrontation with the protesters but how often do you see this?

There is a man hunt for Yves Leonard, the spokes person said in the audio. If we know where he is, we will go get him. If anyone knows where he is call the police and the closest police unit will pick him up.
Most Haitian bike riders do not wear a Motorcycle Helmets
Most Haitian bike riders do not wear a Motorcycle Helmets. They are all over the place, motorcycle taxi drivers (taxi motos) in Haiti carrying 2 or 3 passengers on their backs, neither one of them have a motorcycle helmet.
Here is a message from Haiti police chief Michel-Ange Gedon to these people who either refuse or do not want to wear helmets:
Do you know how important it is to wear a helmet when when riding your motorbike or bicycle?
When you wear a helmet, you are not doing it for the police but you put it to protect yourself, your head, your brain and your face in case you fall.

Police Chief Michel Ange Gedon asks all Haitian Taxi Moto riders to always require the taxi moto driver to give you a helmet to wear on your head.

Haiti Police : Brigade d'Operation et d'Intervention Departementale (BOID)
Here is a photo of Haitian National police (PHN) Brigade for Operation and Departmental Intervention (BOID).
The first promotion of BOID graduated in June 2015.
This new brigade of the PNH received a special training months. They are deployed in the different departments of the country. This new intervention unit includes both a part of the SWAT and UDMO allocations.
