Citadelle Laferrière - Haiti's Mountaintop Fortress, and one of the largest fortresses in the Americas

Here is a beautiful sky view of Citadelle Laferrière, also so called Citadelle Henry Christophe, or simply the Citadel in English, a large mountaintop fortress in Northern Haiti, 3000 feet above sea level built in 1820.
Haiti's Citadelle is about 27 kilometers south of the city of Cap-Haïtien.
The Citadel was built during the early 19th century and is considered one of the largest fortresses in the Americas.
In terms of its height, the Citadelle Laferrière stands at approximately 3,000 feet (910 meters) above sea level. This imposing fortress was strategically positioned on the Bonnet a L'Eveque mountain, overlooking the city of Milot and the surrounding area.
The Citadelle was featured in Jason Derulo music video "COLORS" the Coca-Cola Anthem for the 2018 World Cup
Wyclef Jean plays the guitar in that video...
Check out how some young American tourists are enjoying the view from atop the Citadelle in Haiti.
