About American Celebrities With Haitian Roots, Where on earth did you learn that Sidney Poitier has haitian roots?

Just because he bears a french family name doesn't mean he's of haitian descents.

The guy is not american neither (by naturalization maybe).

He's from BARBADOS and his descendants have worked on a french owned farm (never mentioned) centuries ago. Get your facts straight.
