Re: Scholarships I feel you. I look at all the other minority acholarships and wonder why we can't have the same for our people.

It's not a matter of wanting a handout, it's about helping our fellow Haitians get ahead academically so that we as a whole can improve the situation of our country.

I think that too many successful Haitians forget their roots quickly and simply aren't motivated to start scholarship programs to help others achieve what they managed to. I'm a high school senior and I wish I could feel like the leaders in my culture valued my future sucess enough to help me and others like me out.
