It was in the early days of video camcorder.

I was excited and I wanted to own one. I met whom I describe as the "pssst guy" around the corner.

He the box with the beautiful color and images, so I felt for it. He wanted $200 and I happened to have the balance of my college tuition at the time (undergrad).

SO I gave him the money, he handed me the box. I was blind, young, naive and stupid, it never crossed my mind to open the box in his presence.

When I got home full of excitement, I opened the box it was nothing but paper and a rock. I agree with you 100% when you want somthing so bad one should stop and think a minute.
