"Papi ton" was a man with a vision, and ahead of his time. He lived to be 98 years old, and was a genuis.
His mind was wasted in Haiti, and it is a country who does not appreciate intellectuals.
He suffered in silence, and managed to care for his family.
My mom, and I were number one in his life. He was a real man, and I have not met others like him. He never liked the US, and was an entrepreneur from the age of 18 years old. He did not want to work for a boss, and refused to come here. He was smart, and would have a better life in the US. I was finally able to bring him here, but he was already too old and never worked here. I wish that I understood my dad's visions, but was a rebellious teenager and fought him all the way. I was his Princess, and did not realize it until years later.
I miss him so much, and he used to fix everything.
I wish he was here to help me, and I love him so much. He raised my two sons, and am so greatful to him. He protected his amily, and provided for us. He sacrificed his life for others, and was honest.
He did not lie, or steal to get rich. He had a special relationship with Jesus Christ, and I still do not get it. GOD protected him in Haiti, and despite all the problems there he was never touched by Haitian politics.
GOD shielded him from all the violence, and spared his house due to his loyalty.
What a man!
