It is a nice gesture and symbolic in nature.

I hope this visit bears fruit and not just for photo op. Haiti needs more than a visit from the french president, Haiti needs visits from french business men, engineers, scientists, economists, and so on to help develop its infrastruces.

I will have more to say after the visit.
