About Haiti-Dominican Machete video FAKE, I want to thank you for having the integrity and decency of posting this comment, exposing the fake nature and ill intent of those who were circulating that video.

I'm quite certain that some people here, even after finding out, would rather keep QUIET: it's "good" for certain agendas...those on BOTH sides who want hate to prosper between the two sides of the island.

There's a lot of things that are not said about the TRUTH about Haitian immigrants in the DR. Yes, the conditions a number of them experience are harsh, but so are those of Dominican immigrants in many other places.

But the vast majority of Haitians in the DR are there undisturbed, unchallenged, allowed to work with no restrictions whatsoever.

There is a significant number of middle-class Haitians, college students, professionals in different areas well integrated in Dominican society who are there under legal status, and willingly stay.
There are NO videos on these people because there are agendas which ARE opposed to an orderly system of travel and immigration, ARE against workers' rights, and moreover, want the deep historical rifts between Dominicans and Haitians to get deeper to advance their OWN plans, financial, political...you name it. Peace.
