With respect to Why Does Haiti Import Cement When Haiti Is Rich In Limestone, Hello my friend.

I was just reading about your comments about the natural resources and cement production situation in Haiti.

Thanks for your contributing effort and for taking the time to write this article and your comments.

I always asked myself the very same question.

It's not only cement that Haitians need to stop importing.

I also ask why do we have to import food when we have such a fertile agricultural land in Haiti which is capable of producing so many different crops and food products, we also have access to the ocean.

Why don't we use the ocean to feed the people.

We can also do fish farming so we don't have to be totally depend on the ocean.

Also why don't the Haitian diasporas spend their tourism money in Haiti instead of spending it in DR?

Invest your money in your own country.

The biggest problem facing Haiti right now is this Haitians claimed their independence in 1804 but they continue to rely on other country to provide for them. Haitians abroad and those in Haiti have to learn to stand on their own feet in order to move the country forward.

It breaks my heart to see our beloved Haiti cherie being dragged in the dirt as it is.
