If this virus hits Haiti the people will not understand how its transmitted.

The US population doesn't understand it and they are spreading it. One of the keys of prevention is washing hands with soap. Most of the population in the mountains have little access to water and what they do have its not clean.

They barely have enough drinking water.

They need to quarantine themselves even among family in their homes.

When they are crowded into 2 room huts that will be impossible.

The biggest threat to Haiti will be the diaspora who travel back and forth.

Seal the airport and the seaports.
