In response to Haiti's relationship with other countries: Give and Take, you give, I take, Haiti does not have a give and take relationship with any country.

Haiti import a lot from the united States.

The goods imported are not free. Haitians pay for them. Haiti also does business with Cuba, Jamaica, and even the Dominican Republic.

Are those goods that cross the border from the Dominican Republic into Haiti free of charge?

Are they gifts to Haiti?

That's what you should have asked this dominican guy. I wish I was the one talking to him.
