Haiti Property Tax: Maybe it's time that people pay income tax and businesses paid tax on their business

If it is on the rental of their property I agree 100 percent as long as the government do not pocket this money for their own use but uses it to maintain the country.

10% taxes on the value of the property would have been disastrous since most Haitians are not working or getting Social Security to be able to maintain such demand.

Maybe it's time that people pay income tax and businesses paid tax on their business.
