wow!, I am stunned and shivering.
Very well put together poem.
I am also Haitian,
Came to America when I was young.
I get the same horrible response when people learn that I am Haitian.
It is very nerve wrecking and the stereotypes are horrible.
We really need to have a lot of young Haitian reading words like these.
To give them a sense of pride and dignity.
To know that they have foundation and are deep rooted.
Founded on Strength and Courage.
My world is better now that I have read your great words.
