In reference to Haiti - Daylight Saving Time WILL NOT Change this Year 2016, Haitian Govt said, Actually, do not be so quick to judge; it's smart.

"Daylight savings" costs governments multi-million dollars per year ($434 in the U.S. alone) due to health concerns (distorts our body's internal circadian rhythm and "happiness" levels) and the loss in productivity.

Many countries are trying to be done with it.
