People confuse the Creole Louisiana culture/ethnicity with the Language that Haitian's speak which is Haitian Creole...

In Haiti Creole is a Language not an adjective used to describe a group of People...

Where as in America a group of People categorize themselves as "Creole" Although there is a similarity in language...

it's like someone who speaks Spanish being dropped in the middle of Brazil and still being able to make their way through a Portuguese-speaking country with their Spanish because the languages are similar but not the same...
