I can't blame this little girl for warning her aunty about the dangers of going back home, because there is some thruth to what she's saying.

Unless you are well inform and have done all your research you shouldn't just pack your bags and head to haiti to retire as you have already adjusted yourself to this country.

I don't think it's a good idea for someone under 70 to go retire to haiti, because of health reasons, lack of medical insurance, lack of security, even among their own family.

They should weight in all options, before heading there and it's best to live in the country side or in the suburb vs the urban areas, because they can become easy target.

I would love to go retire in haiti, but am also keeping florida as an option, so i can be closer in case of political uprising which seems to be a comment thing in haiti, all these idiot trying to catch a piece of that pie on the expense of the innocent public.

Beside who wouldn't want to go back to their own contry if they felt safe!!!
