Palito de Coco made my day! The guy is truly a talented star. I enjoyed watching his video so much that I got tears in my eyes. He is the typical Dominican-Haitian that they don't want to legalize in Santo Domingo.

I had the privilege to meet a couple of 10 year-old shoe-shine boys in the streets of Santo Domingo, on a vacation trip last year. They told me that their mother was Haitian.

I was so happy to meet them and talk to them, especially since I did not know anybody in Santo Domingo.

They did a good job shining my shoes, and I made sure to give them a good tip before they left. I wish I could take all of these people and create job for them in Haiti, so they could have a better life.
