I really loves this poem
The peom "I don't look haitian" its kind of talking about me in a way. I am 19 yrs. old and when people find that I am haitian they always " for real you don't look haitian".
I always say "well how does a hatian person look like", and they always say the steotypes.
I always wonder why are people putting down hatians more than other nationalities.
Now you can see some peole on hatian flag day wearing the hatian flag knowing that they're not hatian I don't get mad .I just say that there imbrassing our culture in a positive way instead of ina negative way.
