Port-au-Prince is overcrowded we all know that. If it was me I would move the capital of Haiti a plain somewhere in the middle of Haiti away from big business and la masse.

Sometimes countries and states move their capitals for various reasons.

Cote d'Ivoire did it in 1983, Canada in 1857, South Africa in 1910, Nigeria in 1991, India in 1947, Brazil in 1961
