"I make good money as an Uber driver and I don't even have a car," a young Haitian friend told me. He doesn't have a car of his own so he uses a friend's car and they share the revenue...

Uber transport service is already available in two major cities in the Dominican Republic, Santo Domingo and Santiago de los Caballeros, and young Haitian students are taking advantage of the service to earn a decent living.
