While journalists in Haiti are reporting an all-time record of the number of people kidnapped in a single day in Martissant Haiti, The Caribbean Journal has just reported that last month was the best September for tourist arrivals in the history of the Dominican Republic
While there's still a pandemic in the world, more tourists arrived in the Dominican Republic last month then in 2018 and 2019 which they considered high powered years.
365,544 tourists arrived in the Dominican Republic last month. No one even talks about tourism in Haiti these days. It's as though it is somewhere in the South Pole.
The year is not even over yet and the Dominican Republic reported that 3.3 million visitors came to their country so faelr in 2021. That is more visitors and their received the same time in 2019.
In the meantime our beloved Haiti Cherie which happens to be in the same island is beating world records as the most corrupt, most dangerous country because we have a bunch of criminals who wants to lead us so they can fatten their purse.
