TPS for Nicaragua Delayed 12 months, TPS for Haitians to be decided 23 Nov

According to a press release from the Office of the Press Secretary of the Department of Homeland Security (DHS), the 12 months delay is to "allow for an orderly transition before the designation terminates on January 5, 2019."

"This will provide time for individuals with TPS to seek an alternative lawful immigration status in the United States, if eligible, or, if necessary, arrange for their departure. It will also provide time for Nicaragua to prepare for the return and reintegration of their citizens. TPS for Nicaragua will terminate on January 5, 2019."

What about TPS for Haitians?

SO... If we were to remove "Nicaragua" from everything you just read, and replace it with "Haiti", is this what Haitians living with TPS in the United States should expect? 12 months from November to seek an alternative lawful immigration status, if eligible, or, if necessary, arrange for their departure?

Would 12 months be enough time for Haiti to prepare for the return and reintegration of their citizens?
