The Dominicans Now Have Metro

If you live in Haiti and you want to ride on a Metro, there is no need to come to New York, simply head over to Santo Domingo, They have one now!

When will Haiti Have It's Own Metro?

Glad you ask... Actually we HAD one!

The Compagnie des Chemins de Fer de Port-au-Prince (CCFPP) inaugurated the first tramway service in Haiti back January 17 1878. The first line, which connected Croix des Bossales with the Champ de Mars, was probably the first railway in the country. Read more here.

Yes, 130 years ago Haiti had a metro, 130 years later, the Dominicans have a metro and Haiti has NOtro!
