Many people in Haiti think having friends in high places means they can do whatever they want and you will get away with it. To those people, Tonton Bicha has a message for you.

"When you have friends in high places, now is the best time to say to yourself: let me not put my friend in a difficult position where he cannot even defend me."

Haitian actor Daniel Fils-Aimé alias Tonton Bicha made these remarks after he found out Yves Leonard, owner of Kingdom Hotel in Haiti and close friends with Haitian president Jovenel Moise and Prime Minister Jean Henry Ceant, inflicted some serious injuries to his concubine Nice Simon and is now a fugitive from justice, accused of a crime and hiding from law enforcement.

To all the Haitian wife beaters out there, read this message from Haitian actor Daniel Fils-Aimé alias Tonton Bicha...

"I want to send this message to all of you men, especially those of you who get mad easily and feel the need to raise your hands o your women. If you raise your hand, it would be in your best interest to keep that hand raised because the consequences are harsh," the Haitian comedian said.

"Even though you might hear that in Haitian the justice system is working clopin-clopant, when it wakes up and it does, it might explode on people you would not think.''

Bicha talks about big problem where Haitian lawmakers can give themselves "decharge" and a minister who served his country and did a good job at it is basically barred from any further public service at the higher level because they have not been been discharged from their previous posts.

Haitian actor Daniel Fils-Aime aka Tonton Bicha is in the hot seat because of his latest commercial for Bakara, a rum imported from the Dominican Republic into Haiti...The latest commercial is calling Bakara a "Rhum Culturel", that has upset a lot of people.

Well.. It is a little bit more complicated than just calling Bakara a rhum culturel...

Le nouvelliste release an article today with a long list of people who are imply upset because the latest commercial for Bakara trashes "Pa Ban m kou" (Barbancourt) and the vodou religion is use in the commercial in a way that upsets the Ati Max Beauvoir, the supreme vodou leader in Haiti.
