Does stress make you lazy?
I have discovered that laziness is a habit but it's not a mental health issue.
Thank God!
That means it can be fixed. But there's something else.
When you're feeling lazy. It may be a caused by decrease in your motivation. You suddenly feel more like sitting in your couch watching reruns of Baywatch than doing anything worthwhile.
So I am not lazy, I am rather demotivated. I have lost my motivation to get up and do what I do everyday.
Instead of doing things that puts money in my pocket, I laid down and sleep all and nothing gets done.
I guess you could say I am being lazy.
Certain health issues that can make you lazy and unmotivated.
If you keep eating foods that keeps switching your body's sugar level up and down, that high and low blood sugar level can make you loose your motivation and put you on a lazy state.
That's because high and low blood sugar messes up with the neurotransmitters in your brain like dopamine and serotonin.
When dopamine level is low in your brain, is can can affect how you feel and how you function.
Chronic stress, hormonal imbalance and the level of neurotransmitters like serotonin and acetylcholine can seriously affect your mood, your energy level and your motivation overall.
So if you are feeling lazy and you only feel like being a couch potato everyday, you better check yourself.
