QUESTION: Do Women go to Church more than Men?

Men vs Women - How are men and women different?

During Haitian mother's day Sunday mass, the priest ask all the mothers to come forward for a special mother's day blessing. The whole church got up a came forward. There was only a few men here and there still left sitting.

That raises the question:

Do women go to church more than men?

You probably don't realize it but the next time you go to church, take a good look around and tell me: Do you notice more men or women in your assembly?

I experienced Sabbath while visiting an Adventist couple, it's kind of cool

Good news Bible in my friend's living room

My Sabbath Experience - This weekend, I wanted to visit an old friend of mine but I wanted to keep the visit short because I was afraid it would interfere with his rituals, if I may call it that. He did not mind, he said, and I did not regret it.

He is a seventh day Adventist and I was about to drive five hours to see him on Thursday and I wanted to leave Friday afternoon because I know Adventists usually begin Sabbath Friday evening.

Why call it "GOOD Friday" when it is the day Jesus died on the Cross?

Good Friday : Vendredi Saint in Haiti

Don't you find it interesting that the dark and bleak event commemorating a day of suffering and death of Jesus Christ is called Good Friday?

I was reading this article, it says in Germany the day is called Karfreitag, or "Sorrowful Friday."

At least in Haiti, we call it "Vendredi Saint" and not "Bon Vendredi"... LOL...

I mean it was a pretty dark day for Jesus. The article says: In the same way, Good Friday is "good" because as terrible as that day was, it had to happen for us to receive the joy of Easter.

11:30 p.m. in Haiti and the church down the street is still having services

Haitians in Church Praising the Lord

It's 11:30 PM, can you imagine? There is a church service happening at this time of night... 11:30 at night in Haiti, and people are piled up in there singing loudly. I cannot understand how this works.

11:30 at night I am trying to force myself to go to sleep and the noise down the street is keeping me awake. This happens almost every night.

Don't get me wrong, I love God, I love going to church, but you're not going to find me in church at 11:30 at night.

Haiti - Compas Music vs Religion : Why do Haitian musicians abandon Compas Music when they convert into Christianity?

Ayiti - Konpa Mizik kont Relijyon: Poukisa mizisyen ayisyen abandone Konpa lè yo konvèti?

Here is something that I do not understand with Haitian music stars, as soon as they accept Jesus Christ as their Lord and savior (konvèti) they abandon compas music like music is the devil. Why is that?

If you are a Christian, I am know you cannot wait to reply and tell me why but hear me out...

I watch the American Music Awards all the time. Whether it is country music, hip-hop, R&B, Rock and Roll, you name it, the American music stars always thank God first whenever they receive a music award. Aint none of them feel that they are involved in something that is so wrong that they have to abandon it for Jesus.

Christianity in Haiti - Why do Haitian Preachers Preach and Encourage Poverty?

Do you go church? Better yet, do you go to a Haitian church? Don't you get the impression that many Haitian pastors are preaching and encouraging poverty on the pulpit?

Haitian Christians, why mention Satan's name at all?

Haiti Cardinal Chibly Langlois celebrating Mass at St Jerome Church in Brooklyn NY

Here is something to think about this morning... Why do you keep mentioning Satan's name while you are in church? Would it not be better to simply praise the Lord and thank him for all he has done for you?

If you feel that the Lord has blessed you then thank him and leave satan's name out of it.

A friend of mine brought this up this morning while we were on our way to church and I wanted to share that with you and get your opinion on it...
